Betsy Fanning is a consultant to the PDF Association, Inc. leading its standards program efforts. In this capacity, she is the administrator for the U.S. Technical Advisory Group to ISO TC171 SC2 and the ANSI secretary for ISO TC171 Subcommittee 2, and supports NISO (National Information Standards Organization) with their standards program. Prior to becoming a consultant, Betsy was Director of Standards for the 3D PDF Consortium and AIIM. She is also responsible for building liaison relationships with other standards development organizations to make the standards program stronger.
Betsy has previously held positions with DynSolutions, a correspondence, document and records management company, and Westinghouse Electric. She has implemented Enterprise Content Management systems including the elements of imaging, workflow, and correspondence, report and document management. In 1994, Betsy was awarded AIIM’s Distinguished Service Citation and was inducted into AIIM’s Company of Fellows in 2008.
